ZIPS delivers shine to local schools, medical facilities, and military families, kicking off annual Folds of Honor customer donation campaign to support families of veterans.

Plano, TX – (May 6, 2025) – ZIPS Car Wash announced today its support for 52,000 teachers and nurses at over 685 schools and medical facilities across 23 states as ZIPS and its sister brands, Rocket Express Car Wash and Jet Brite Car Wash, collectively celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Day and National Nurses Appreciation Day this week. Military families will also benefit this month as ZIPS Car Wash kicks off its 2025 customer donation campaign for Folds of Honor, an organization dedicated to providing life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military. In 2024, ZIPS raised over $92,000 for Folds of Honor and hopes to surpass that in 2025.

“Local ZIPS team members have visited schools and medical facilities within a 3-mile radius of their respective ZIPS, Rocket, and Jet Brite locations to distribute free Premier Car Wash Cards, air fresheners, and car wash vouchers to teachers and nurses who download the ZIPS app. Together, this totals over 104,000 free washes being distributed to hometown heroes across the country,” said Rebecca Latacz, Chief Marketing Officer, ZIPS Car Wash.

ZIPS’ efforts don’t stop there – May is National Military Appreciation Month, and the entire ZIPS Car Wash portfolio is helping communities across the country support Folds of Honor scholarship recipient families. Starting today, ZIPS is collecting donations through the check-out process at local car washes, where customers can add a donation of $1, $3 or $5 to their car wash purchase. The option to donate to Folds of Honor will be available on the final screen before checkout at all locations. No cash donations will be accepted on site.

“We were blown away with the generosity of our customers in 2024 and we know that if everyone gives a little, we can work together to make a big impact for many local families of fallen or wounded soldiers and fuel their children’s academic dreams,” Latacz added.

Plano, TX – (May 1, 2025) – Zips Car Wash, LLC (together with its affiliates, collectively “ZIPS” or the “Company”), one of the largest privately-held car wash operators nationwide, announced that it has successfully completed its financial restructuring and emerged from its chapter 11 process on April 30, 2025, following confirmation of the Company’s Plan of Reorganization on April 18, 2025. ZIPS emerges from this process as a financially stronger company, better positioned to continue providing a high-quality wash experience and service at the best value for its customers.

Through its financial restructuring, ZIPS reduced its debt obligations and secured access to additional liquidity through a new revolving credit facility to support future strategic initiatives. The Company will continue to operate as usual with no change to its service offerings, customer experience or value proposition for ZIPS Unlimited Wash Club Members.

In connection with ZIPS’ emergence, the Company also announced the appointment of industry leader Pete Nani as its new Chief Executive Officer to lead ZIPS into the future. Nani brings more than three decades of car wash industry experience and a proven track record of excellence to ZIPS, having played a pivotal role in shaping iconic car wash brands, including Mister Car Wash and Wash Depot Holdings. Most recently, Nani served as CEO of Clean Freak and Rainstorm Car Wash, owned by Circle K, where he established and scaled Circle K’s express car wash platform.

Baxter, MN – (February 27, 2025) – On Saturday, March 8th, from 8 AM to 12 PM, Baxter, MN, residents can enjoy a FREE car wash at either of the ZIPS Car Wash locations in Baxter as ZIPS shows appreciation to the community who helped avert and restore their Universal Drive location following fire damage in December 2024.

Customers are asked to enter wash code 2810 for a Free Basic Car Wash at the event. Complimentary vacuums, spray cleaner and towels are available for use on site following the free car wash.

“We were able to get all updates and repairs completed by the end of January and we’ve been waiting for the weather to improve to offer this community day to our loyal customers who have been patient with us as we have worked to repair the damages from our recent fire,” said Kyle Payne, ZIPS District Manager for Baxter. “We are grateful for the good citizen who called 9-1-1 for us on the night the fire blazed after our store was already closed. We’re extremely thankful for the local first responders who assisted in getting the fire contained and put out quickly. This free wash event is our way of thanking the community for being such good citizens.”

ZIPS is extending car wash gift cards to the local firefighters and free air fresheners and key chains at the event (while supplies last) so customers can come experience the restored facility. These offers will be available at both Baxter locations.
